As of 2020 your Friesian can be an A, AA, AAA

Starting in 2020 the KFPS is now adding A, AA, and AAA to the papers of horses that have completed the IBOP, ABFP, CO (stallion test)

You'll now see
Star A
 or Kroon AAA
what does that mean

It means that not only did the horse participate in the aptitude tests but it scored well.

A means they got a score of 73-76.5
AA means they got a score of 77-81.5
AAA means they got a score of 82 or higher

At a quick glance you can see these rankings on the new printed papers as well as online on the KFPS.nl page.

for example Fokelien is a Model mare that got an 83 on her IBOP

here is Fokelien's information on the KFPS page you can now see that her ranking is Model AAA

on the printed papers (courtesy of Paula P)

you will now see Star A for a horse that got 73 on the IBOP. This horse's mother earned the scores in the ABFP.

Any KFPS aptitude test qualifies the horse for the A, AA, AAA status
